Yafa al-Mozain, 18, graduated high school in Gaza City last year and was accepted to Birzeit University in Ramallah, West Bank. She has not been allowed to leave and spends her days in Gaza City watching TV and surfing the web.

Hatem Shurrab, 22, was accepted to a training program for media practitioners at the United Nations in New York. Israel has denied him an exit permit so he cannot get a U.S. visa in Jerusalem or Cairo.
