Afghan men line up to vote in West Kabul on the morning of Afghanistan's presidential election. Despite technical problems with the voting process, poor planning and lack of preparation by the joint U.N. and Afghan election authorities, and insufficient international monitoring, millions of Afghans turned out to vote on election day.
