Photo Gallery The first set of dramatic images Human Rights Watch presents here were taken in Russia in Winter and Summer 1998 by photographer Kate Brooks. Kate visited various orphanages and Internaty, documenting the often extremely harsh conditions for children. At the end of this gallery we present before and after photos of Russian orphans whose lives have improved dramatically thanks to local volunteer groups. |
