    HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH ANNUAL DINNER
Voices for Justice

The Human Rights Watch Annual Dinner celebrates the valor of ordinary people who put their lives on the line to defend the rights of others. At this year's dinner, we honor three activists--from Egypt, Liberia, and the United States--whose work illuminates some of the many human rights abuses addressed by Human Rights Watch: torture in Egypt, attacks on civilians in Liberia, and the deplorable conditions in which youth offenders are held in Los Angeles. Human Rights Watch collaborates with these courageous human rights defenders to create a world in which citizens live free of violence, discrimination, and oppression.
