Internship Opening for Graduate Students

Development & Outreach Department, Paris Office

Internship Description:  
Graduate internships are primarily administrative and clerical in nature, but other projects can be assigned as they arise and match the student's interests and abilities.  

Contribute
The purpose of this internship is to assist the Paris Director of Development and Outreach, in collaboration with the Office Administrator, with:  
  • organization of public and private events
  •  
  • organization and follow-up of Paris Committee meetings
  •  
  • updating the Paris office’s database
  •  
  • designing communication documents and writing reports
  •  
  • developing a network of donors
  •  
  • translating documents between French and English
 
Qualifications:  
Applicants should be well-organized, self-motivated and reliable, with a strong interest in international human rights. Relevant coursework is highly desirable, and excellent knowledge of both French and English is required. Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications, databases) are also required. Previous work experience organizing events and/or fundraising is also highly desirable. Applicants will preferably be available full-time.
