In Geneva, Human Rights Watch co-founded in March 2003 the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH), and presents each year a Special Event by showing a film of its own selection about HRW’s work, followed by a debate including several of its experts. Le festival se tiendra du 7 au 16 mars 2008 et accueillera la soirée de Human Rights Watch le Sunday, March 9, 2008, with Klaartje Quirijns’ film, The Dictator Hunter. This film profiles Reed Brody, Human Rights Watch counsel and spokesman, in his former Chadian Dictator Hissène Habré “hunt” to bring him to trial.
