Twelve suicide attacks on civilians took place in March 2002. The daughter of Moges Mahenta, killed in a suicide attack on a bus near the Israeli Arab town of Umm al-Fahm, holds a portrait of her father at his funeral in Tel Aviv March 21, 2002. Seven were killed and at least 27 wounded in the attack. Four of the dead were IDF soldiers, fifteen of the wounded were civilians. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.
