Photos taken by Human Rights Watch on October 20, 2021, at 31st Street by Main Street in Los Angeles. One day after the sweep, a huge pile of trash was on the sidewalk, most likely illegally dumped. A business just down the block from the encampment had this wooden structure blocking the sidewalk.
