The boy was injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on a convoy of public transportation buses that killed 14 people, including 7 students, on January 4, 2020 in Boucle du Mouhoun region, Burkina Faso. “It threw me in the air... I was injured on my knee and hand. I saw my classmates dead in the bus,” the boy said.
