Philippa Stewart is a Senior Media Officer at Human Rights Watch, working in particular with the LGBT Rights and Children's Rights divisions. Before joining Human Rights Watch she was a journalist, first for Al Jazeera and then as a freelancer working in Ukraine and the UK. She has also reported from Mongolia, Qatar, and Afgahnistan. Her primary interests are LGBT rights, children's rights, and press freedom.
