Helen Griffiths was a coordinator in the Children’s Rights Division of Human Rights Watch. She conducted research on the rights of migrant and asylum-seeking children and the right to education. She has previously interned for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the African Great Lakes team at Human Rights Watch. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Canterbury, an M.A. in International Peace and Security from King’s College London, and an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law and Practice from the University of York.
